I was commenting on my friend Shannon's blog (formerly Dudley) with advice on potty training her new puppy. Then I decided to go ahead and blog about Riley's doorbell.The doggy doorbell, seen on this site: http://www.safehomeproducts.com/shp2/sc/shopexd.asp?id=306, worked GREAT for training Riley to go outside. Because he wouldn't whine or bark to go out, I would not know when he needed to go out and eventually he would pee right by the door.So, I trained him in about 5 days on this awesome thing. Once he learned it got him praise and attention, he would push it for anything, though-if he was hungry, especially.
