2.40 Fix Coming "Midweek" [2.40]
http://kotaku.com/ 397952/ 240-fix-coming-midweek
Sony's big 2.40 update for the PS3 has been down since the middle of last week, following some issues a few users had while trying to install the firmware. When, then, can we expect a fix? Around the same time this week, if Sony's customer support are to be believed. They say that firmware 2.41 - which will fix the busted 2.40 - will be out "midweek". Unless they're making that up, an official announcement from Sony on the matter should turn up later today. PS3 firmware 2.41 out "midweek", says Sony [CVG]

2.40 Problems Fixed, 2.41 Firmware Goes Live [Issues Resolved]
http://www.valverdeatope.com/2008/07/240-problems-fixed-241-...2.40 Problems Fixed, 2.41 Firmware Goes Live [Issues Resolved] 8 Jul 2008 Por: Pablo Pino En la categorÃa: Noticias, TecnologÃa While the 2.40 PS3 firmware was eagerly anticipated, it didn't go as smoothly as Sony would've liked. Sony actually had to take 2.40 down due to issues a few users were having while installing the update. And as we previously mentioned, the 2.41 firmware should fix any problems 2.40 had. Over at the PlayStation.Blog, PSN director Eric Lempel blogs: As many of you know, we released PS3 firmware update v2.40 last week, but had to take it offline temporarily because, for a limited number of users, the XMB wouldnât display after the update was installed. Weâve been able to fix the problem, and Iâm happy to report that firmware update v2.41 will be released shortly. We want to extend our apologies to the PlayStation community for any inconvenience. Now weâll be looking forward to seeing everyone online and racking up those trophies! So there ya go, all better! PS3 System Software Update (v2.41) [PlayStation.Blog Thanks Joshua!]

Whatcha Listening To? Like, Right Now? [Night Note]

[Night Note] 7 Jul 2008 Por: Pablo Pino En la categorÃa: Noticias, TecnologÃa To: Crecente From: Bashcraft Man, it's Monday! And a pretty quiet Monday, post holiday. Went to my kid's soccer practice, where another little kid crapped in his pants and had to be taken off the field by the coach. Ah, yes, youth. Been listening to a lot of Bowie recently, a lot â well, up to Scary Monsters, after which he seemed to lose the plot for a while (warm fuzzy Labyrinth soundtrack memories aside). Heroes just might be in my top five albums of all time... I always seem to go in phases where I begin listening to one artist or genre, listen to that to death and then move on.......... What's on your playlist? Gonna need some Tunes to listen to on the plane.
