Tim McGraw and country friends rock Amway Arena

It was all simple enough when country stars were satisfied with imitating the Eagles and Southern rock, but that’s apparently becoming too predictable – even for the performers on stage. With the real Eagles back and making country radio hits, it was inevitable that classic rockers such as Aerosmith and Tom Petty are now targets for watered-down tributes. Songs by both were trotted out by opening acts at Tim McGraw’s Live Your Voice Tour on Sunday at Amway Arena. McGraw, meanwhile, seems in the midst of his own transition.
