9/11 Truth is the loose name assigned to a conspiracy theory speculating that the official version of the American terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 is not the correct one. Many so-called "9/11 Truthers" in fact believe that the attacks had government involvement or were otherwise the result of some sort of inside job.
Some of the 9/11 Truth movement's arguments pointing to a larger conspiracy with the involvement of the U.S government can be seen in Loose Change, an independent film which was widely distributed on the Internet, becoming something of an online sensation.
The conspiracy theories are supported at websites like Above Top Secret, Conspiracy Planet, and Alex Jones' Info Wars. There are also a number of websites debunking the theories of the 9/11 Truth movement.
