CNN rose to prominence for U.S. audiences during the 1991 Gulf War, when they were able to provide exclusive images from inside Iraq. CNN was also the first network to report on the 9/11 terror attacks in New York City.
In addition to straight news reporting, CNN now features many popular commentators, including Larry King, Lou Dobbs, and Anderson Cooper.
CNN features many blogs, including Business 360, Political Ticker, AC360, and Cafferty File.
