Flight is the movement through air of a body, such as an airplane, insect or bird.
Mechanical flight is the use of airplanes, gliders, helicopters, balloons or spacecraft to create movement through the air for people. In an airplane, flight is achieved by a lift created by the winds. The shape of the airplane wings are directly related to the type of flight desired (gliding, flying, etc). Supersonic flight is faster than the speed of sound. Leonardo da Vinci is one of the first students of flight, having made a wide range of flight prototypes including parachute wings. The Wright Brothers are credited with the first controlled, extended manned power flights.
Flight blogs may include reviews and experience stories on airlines and different types of flights. They may also include information on the types of flight options including private planes. The Flight Club includes horror stories from bad flight experiences on their flight blog.
