Perhaps the most enigmatic character in basketball today is the shooting guard for the Los Angeles Lakers. But Kobe Bryant's intrigue goes way beyond his achievements and championships, of which has has plenty.
Sure, he won three rings with the Lakers from 2000-2002 alongside larger-than-life center Shaquille O'Neal. Sure, he scored 81 points in a game. And yes, he won the NBA Most Valuable Player Award in 2008 without ballin' in Shaq's shadow and lead Team USA to gold at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
But what else is so intriguing about him?
Perhaps it's all those videos of him out there. And they're not just all highlight reels. There's also the viral video of him jumping over a speeding Aston Martin. And how can we forget Shaq's informal rap candidly asking Kobe Bryant about the flavorfulness of his posterior?
Whatever the reason, it's made Bryant one of the most iconic figures in American sports. (Oh, and his jersey is the top-selling uni in China.
