An online casino (see also online casinos) is a service that allows players to wager money on games of chance, such as blackjack and many others.
Like a real-life casino, an online casino is set up to separate players from their money over a period of time. Since players are not physically observed as they would be in a real-life casino, attempts to cheat are extremely common, and software to ferret out cheaters is also quite advanced. Sometimes the cheaters have the edge, and sometimes the online casinos do, but over time it is certain that "the house always wins," or no online casino could remain online for long.
