A photo blog is a blog consisting mainly, and often exclusively, of photographs.
A photoblog can be run by anyone, from a individual blogger to a professional photographer. A photoblog, like a blog, is run on a blogging platform, that platform can be hosted for free, or self hosted and paid for by the blogger. There are a variety of blog hosts available, all easy to find via a search engine using the term "blogging host", or "self hosted blogging platforms", " free blogging host", or similar derivatives. There are also photo specific blogging platforms. Searching using the term "photoblog platforms" or "photoblog host" will bring you to these more specific platforms.
Once the platform is established a photo is posted to the blog any time the blogger decides to do so. There may be a daily posting, other schedule type, or the posting can be randomly posted on no set schedule. Either way a photoblog is a diverse way to enter the blogesphere.
