In the 1920s the popular thing to do was to jump on a pogo stick. In the 1950s Pogo (the possum) was cartoonist Walt Kelly's ticket to comic strip syndication. If you were pogoing in the 1980's, chances are you were at a punk rock concert.
In the 21st Century, Pogo is hot again! This time around you'll be visiting one of Electronic Arts' (the EA) game sites. Pogo.com has been one of the Top Ten internet sites visited in the United States since 2006. With all it has to offer it's easy to reason why.
You can play for free or as a dues playing Club Pogo member. As a club member, you can earn virtual badges and prizes as well as access to games unique to the site with no ads. They are constantly adding new games including Arcade and Sports, Board, Card, Freebie Gambling, and Puzzles. That includes combining forces with traditional games like Scrabble where members have access to the National Scrabble Association Ratings. Pogo also offers up "Trivial Pursuit," both online and in conjunction with the 2008 syndicated game show.
