A site, in the internet vernacular is a web site or collection of web pages, images, and video that is hosted at a common IP (internet protocol) address. The site usually includes a landing, home or splash page; which is the first page the viewer comes to when using the standard web address or URL (uniform resource locator).
Other common pages include contact pages, about us pages with information about the owner or company, product/services pages with the links for ecommerce (if any) and a site map. The site map lists each page and topic in the site overall in a text based format that supports the algorithms of search engines.
Site blogs may include how to set up a website, or how to develop a blog. Many site blogs include directories of the most popular blog sites. Wordpress offers a site blog which includes support FAQ boards and other tips.
