Time management is a topic of high interest to many people in our time-pressed, multi-tasking world. The goal is to feel in control of your life and to be able to give satisfactory focus to the important areas of your life.
Time management challenges can include technical problems such as lack of organizational systems, external situations like lots of interruptions, and psychological issues such as unclear goals or being a perfectionist.
Traditional time management focuses on list-making and prioritization, as well as values clarification, time-blocking, dealing with interruptions, and delegation. Cutting edge time management is more focused on energy management, which seek helps you work with your natural cycles, add appropriate stress (often physical, which is usually under-stressed in our society) and establish appropriate boundaries with the people in your life, especially learning how to say "no." The idea is that you can get twice as much done if you are focused, rested, clear and energized.
