Twilight is a very popular tag used by bloggers. The term twilight generally refers to a time in the early evening, when the sun has set but it is not quite night and there is still some light.
Most recently, the tag twilight has rocketed up in popularity due to the enormously successful Twilight series, written by Stephenie Meyer. The Twilight series is written for young adults, but it is equally enjoyed by children and adults of all ages. A tale of forbidden love, Twilight chronicles the romance of a young girl named Bella Swan and a vampire named Edward Cullen. Bella also shares a profound connection to a werewolf named Jacob Black.
Just as the Harry Potter series had the fantastic impact on getting children to read, Twilight has inspired many young adults to put down their video games and cell phones for a while and get back into reading books. In what began perhaps as curiosity about what their teens were reading, the Twilight series has also become very popular among adults. The first Twilight movie was recently released, and several more Twilight sequels are in production.
