Are Jews are so open-minded that their brains have fallen out?

    Jews and Obama

Obama in relation to the Jewish community. I think it is clear that the viral email that circulated in mid-Janurary about Obama being anti-semitic was a smear tactic. Many American Jewish leaders, including my good Rabbi David Saperstein, published an open letter to the Jewish community in which they denounced the email saying that these tactics are “despicable” as they “attempt to drive a wedge between our community and a presidential candidate.” I agree whole heartedly.

    Where’s Barack?

African American candidates to condemn blatant anti-Semitism by “clergy” in the African American community in an election? So far, we haven’t heard from either front-runner Barack Obama [for whom Jewish groups have condemned fabricated attacks] or even from the candidate in TN who might be the “benefit target” of this flyer. (There is no indication the candidate had any knowledge of the flyer, which emanated from outside her district.)

hillaryis44.com The anonymous anti-Obama e-mail campaign has been particularly viral in Jewish political circles (one of the ones accusing him of being some sort of Manchurian candidate was actually translated into Hebrew), and a broad group of prominent Jewish leaders just put out an open letter

Smear Campaign Against Obama Circulates Among Jewish Leaders

With a Muslim father, and being surrounded in his early youth in a Muslim environment, is there such a thing as a 'pintele Muslim,' with deep seated feelings which could color decisions re: terrorism and the Middle East?" Happily, Ben Smith of Politico reports that some Jewish leaders have struck back against this madness with a strong statement condemning this smear: January 15, 2008 An Open Letter to the Jewish Community: As leaders of the Jewish community, none of whose

to change God's standards so it lines up with some contemporary view of how we treat each other and how we treat the family." - Mike Huckabee, January 14, 2008 Looks like someone has already thrown principles one and two right out the window. This, along with other recent developments, seem to point to a presidential season that refuses to stop using religion as a weapon. If this trend continues, what will happen when a true religious outsider (other than a Mormon) makes a serious run for political office? Having
