Freedom is always the right answer
172 days ago · Authority: 1, the second best Republican candidate after Ron Paul. Thompson had it all going his way except he failed to grab for the ring. This is too bad too. Thompson would have cleaned the clocks of any of the Democrats in a debate. Bill Clinton claims to have personally witnessed voter suppression in Las Vegas. His story is obviously implausible, but only because this wouldn't happen in front of him, and Bill Clinton lies as naturally as the rest of us breath. But you know this is what is happening behind the scenes in this situation that was

give you a schedule tomorrow so you can’t be there.’ So, is this the new politics? I haven’t seen anything like that in America in 35 years. So I will say it again – they think they’re better than you.” [unlike Hillary, ya mean...] “We need a new politics where we all love each other." Exit barfing. Clinton supporters can ask union organizers—who are actively promoting Obama’s candidacy—to add their names to the lists of workers who will take time off to caucus today. ... Workers can go around the union and

Update: Meanwhile, the aspiring First Man is helping Hillary line up her excuses this afternoon by seeding a voter supression story in Nevada. Update: Thinking back to Michigan, it's worth remembering that Romney unexpectedly outperformed Huckabee among evangelicals. I wonder if Huckabee's surprisingly poor performance this afternoon and Mitt's outperformance suggest Mitt's

the 90s you couldn't be a bigger Clinton guy than I was. So it's hard to see that history (and it's quite some history) leveraged to muscle this campaign." Meanwhile, Markos Moulitsas pushes back against another Bill Clinton statement: "Bill Clinton personally witnesses voter suppression. Yup. People are suppressing voters right in the face of the former President of the United States. Either that, or he's full of shit as he tries to bolster his wife's presidential bid."

s style. The old school mud that has polarized this nation seems to be personified in the Clinton campaign. Sigh. And Bill, always presidential Bill, claims to have personally overheard of voter suppression by the Culinary Workers Union officials. It seems that the former president and his daughter were walking through a casino, with all of the bells and chimes and ambient noise that is common to such venues, and while surrounded by a wall of secret

Dems Get Dirty in Nevada
184 days ago in MotherJones.com | MoJoBlog - Social Issues and Political Commentary by MoJoBlog · Authority: 1,598The Obama campaign has nabbed a robocall left on the voicemail of a Nevada supporter that refers to Obama as "Barack Hussein Obama" four times. No word on who is funding the ad. On the other side, Bill Clinton, top Clinton ally Terry McAuliffe, and other Clinton surrogates are alleging that union officials are intimidating union members into caucusing for Obama. They are claiming that Clinton-friendly union members are being told to stay away from the

Karen Russell: Zip It, Bill!
All of the Clinton's huffing and puffing won't change the fact that Hillary Clinton voted for the war and that Obama has always been against it. Then in Nevada, Clinton claimed that Obama was running ads "telling Republicans that they ought to just register as Democrats for a day so they can beat Hillary and go out and be Republicans next week and vote in the primary. Doesn't sound like the new politics to me." This simply isn't true. Those ads don't exist. To many, the idea of getting Republicans to cross the aisle and become "Obama Republicans" is appealing. Remind me again, what is wrong with trying to woo independents and Republicans? Taylor Marsh seems

Democrats charge democrats with crimes
No problems.. But on the democratic side in Nevada- Hillary won the popular vote. However, (somehow???) Obama won more delegates than Hillary did in Nevada. (Which means it is time for)- Charges of voter intimidation
