paar uur maar 10 van, want Hawaii zorgt echt niet voor een tropische verrassing door Hillary te stemmen. Punten van belang: - blanke mannen van het type arbeider (blue collar) switchen van Hillary naar Obama. Ofwel: White men can jump!

in a state where she had no clear excuse for defeat, and leaving her no leeway at all for further major losses. His win sets the stage for showdowns in Texas and Ohio on March 4, two states Clinton’s supporters acknowledge she must win. Here in another piece from Politico Clinton’s problems seem to be mounting according to exit poll data. The post says Obama neutralized Clinton’s strength with women voters and “devastated” her with men. The post goes on to say:

As wonkette.com noted today, you can’t throw a rock in Wisconsin without hitting an old, white lady who is waaaay concerned about healthcare. And Hillary STILL lost the state. You can stick a fork in her, folks. She’s done. Meanwhile, the tall, handsome black guy continues to do well with white women. And the media acts like this is somehow surprising! It’s further proof that 90 percent of journalists are anti-social shut-in jerkoffs who didn

error than an intentional line of attack: this doesn't help, it only hurts. I keep hearing it asserted that it is "beneficial" for men to use and hear this sort of language, but how is it beneficial?White Men Jumped. White men can jump—to Obama. Obama devastated Clinton among men in the Wisconsin primary on Tuesday. Etc. That's not to take away from Obama's decisive victory last night—he improved among other demographics, too. It's just to point out that the suggestion Obama had nothing to gain by appealing to (sexist) men was patently wrong. He had room to

Instead, Wisconsin unexpectedly got called as a crushing win at once. Hawaii, with no suspense, but almost a day's delay, duly declared an even bigger crushing win. So the media spend one whole day going on about the terrible result for Clinton in Wisconsin, and then, what could have been discounted in Hawaii become the "10th win in a row" with the percentages going up. Here's Kos on the winning streak.

Frontrunner. 10-0 since 2/5. Wisconsin exit polls foretell a rough ride for Hillary. Obama leads Clinton by 14 points nationally. On to Texas and Ohio. Jon Stewart battens down the Oscar hatches. Prepare to fire! Lunar eclipse tonight. Try to keep the howling to a minimum.

its best to get out of the way and let them. The Republican primary saw and still sees various constituencies holding tight to their favored candidate, but the Wisconsin primary all but signaled the collapse of the Clinton campaign as key demographics abandoned her for the Messiah. In a state where half the voters were white women, where only one in ten voters were minorities, and where more than half were from households that made less than $74,999 annually, Wisconsin should have comported with Clinton's

dogfight to the convention. That, however, is no longer the case. This is a Muhammed Ali prize fight against a novice, and the fight should have been called a couple rounds ago. She is wounded, badly. He took a stronghold demographic away from her last night in Wisconsin when he took the greater amount of votes from women and men. While she still makes inroads with senior citizens, she can't possibly hope to win on them alone. Obama leads on virtually every demographic in every

states that he was expected to win. Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on whether or not you are “on the hope train,” this news is not very big at all. In fact, most news outlets have decided to focus their articles on Obama’s win streak or what the exit polls tell us or both. I’d like just to pause for a moment and bask in the meaning of Wisconsin and Hawaii. The fact that Obama won these states expectedly, particularly Wisconsin, which is seen as a swing state, is a very big deal. Had Hillary won, or even come
