While the NRCC has not endorsed any candidate, it doesn't leave a lot to the imagination when chairman Tom Cole hands Parker a $5,000 check, as Roll Call's John McArdle writes today. As chairman of the NRCC, Tom Cole has stayed out of party primaries, but Republican defeats in three straight red district special elections this year have apparently overcome his initial respect for the will of local voters. Fear is a powerful motivator, I guess.
