On Friday, however, Obama thanked Schultz and called him the “voice of progressive radio.” Obama also appeared as a guest on his radio show earlier in the week. As Joe Tobacco points out in his comments section, Obama has no intention of repudiating the statement: Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) declined twice Saturday to personally repudiate a liberal radio host’s declaration that Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) is a “warmonger.” Joe explains why: The explanation for this is pretty simple, really. Obama

, Obama's knees again turn to Jello when he is faced with the prospects of criticizing anyone supporting him, no matter what they do or say (a trait McCain decidedly does not share...): A NEW KIND OF POLITICS: "Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) declined twice Saturday to personally repudiate a liberal radio host's declaration that Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) is a 'warmonger.'" Apparently, Obama lacks the backbone to repudiate any of his supporters. I'm not the first to note the contrast here. I expect the press to give him a pass on it, but people will notice nonetheless.

Bill ‘No Spin’ O’Reilly Wildly Swings at Obama

Even if true, this doesn’t mean Obama shares Donahue’s politics on the war. But is it true? Typical of O’Reilly he’s data mining again to spin half-truths. While Obama has not personally denounced the quote his campaign officially has, a point that’s important for Bill to ignore because his linkages between Obama and the far-left have only just begun but all hinge on this half-truth. Now let’s put Phil, MoveOn.org, and Obama in the same sentence:

“Hussein.” Without prompting, McCain came out and condemned the statements the radio talker had made. Contrast that with Obama and “progressive” radio talker Ed Schultz. At two events, Schultz labeled Sen. John McCain a warmonger. In response, the best Obama appears to be able to do is send out his spokespeople to say that he doesn’t agree with Shultz’s comments. Obama spokeswoman Jen Psaki said, “John McCain is not a warmonger and should not be described as such. He

minutes on-air to amplify his smear, without inviting anyone from McCain's camp to participate or respond. Unbelievable. You can watch it here. Obama, meanwhile, has said nothing publicly about the incident, and he continues to echo Schultz's smear by repeating his false claim that McCain "wants to continue this war in Iraq, maybe for 100 years." So Schultz's ham-handed attacks on McCain come straight from the Obama playbook. Here's what McCain actually thinks about war:
