anvil of my Judeo-Christian background.  After reading the above story I am left weary with the conundrum that faces our society.  On the facade, I welcome a universal law banning abortions, however at the same time I unfortunatley agree with Chris Hedges who wrote,  ”abortion is never going to go away.  If it again becomes illegal, the rich, as in the past, will find ways to provide abortions for their wives, mistresses and girlfriends, and the poor will die in unhygienic back rooms.
