Google's Feedburner Adds Tweet Feature
Google added a new tweet feature to their Feedburner service. Now bloggers can have their posts added to their Twitter stream automagically through Feedburner's feed syndication services. Previously, in order to tweet your posts through a feed, bloggers used a plugin, a third party service or other hacks.

In the Publicize section of Feedburner, there is a new service called Socialize. After adding your Twitter account, you have a few formatting options. You can decide how much content is displayed, include hash tags, leave room for retweets and add any extra text. You can also limit the number of tweets posted in an hour as well as add a keyword filter.
Any guesses on which URL shortener is used for your tweets? After the recent buzz of Google's own URL shortening service, Feedburner's Socialize service showcases the http://goo.gl links in your tweets.

Let's see how Google plans to increase the competition between bit.ly, fb.me and their new service. Currently, bit.ly is the prevailing URL shortening service with their detailed analytics feature and API. Will there be a merging of Google Analytics, Goo.gl, and Feedburner?
