Good news for fans and lovers of photo-sharing! Facebook-owned Instagram has launched a Web version of its popular photo app sharing service, according to a report.

Instagram's "extended" new photo share feature now includes the ability to view Instagram feeds right through the website on your desktop, laptop or tablet.

The Instagram feed on the Web lets you browse through the latest photos of people whom you follow with updates as people post new photos. You can also like photos by double clicking on them or pressing the like button. Or, engage in a conversation around a photo with inline commenting.

The service's "extended" Web edition also lets you browse through pages of the most recent images to keep up on what's happening with the people you follow in real-time. Users can also shrink their browser down to a single column for your feed to look more like your mobile feed.

However, even with its "extended" service Instagram still do not offer the ability to upload pictures from the Web. Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom has this thing to say regarding that matter:

"We do not offer the ability to upload from the Web as Instagram is about producing photos on the go, in the real world, in real time." On the other hand, Instagram for the Web is focused on making the browsing experience a fast, simple and enjoyable one.

So what are you waiting for? Log in to your Instagram account today via your tablet, laptop and desktop and give this newest Instagram feature a quick spin.
