Twitter has been a hive of innovation in recent months, from email digests of tweets to sponsored tweets.

Their latest improvement sees an update to how you interact with profiles.  They have announced the change on their blog, with the aim of making it easier to see what people are tweeting about.

The update, which is initially being rolled out across Twitter verified accounts, will see a change in the current interface whereby you see a timeline of tweets but no @ replies.  With the new update this will be rectified as there will be two interface options now, one showing all tweets and replies, the other just showing tweets.

Twitter hope that this change will make it easier for users to see the kind of tweets that they can expect when they follow someone by revealing more about the kind of content they share.

Now you can quickly find out what your favorite musicians, athletes and brands are saying and doing, even if they frequently reply to others. And you can also continue to discover great moments on Twitter like when @MollyRingwald and @SalmanRushdie discussed following one another on Twitter.

Of course, with research revealing that 2/3 of all tweets aren't worth reading, providing users with more insight into the things you share may not be a good thing.
