Now That We Know About Tiger’s Addiction, Let’s Talk About Healthy Sex

In the wake of so many sex scandals, there is much ado about sex addiction and rehabilitation and open confessions of infidelity by certain famous people. It happened with former President Bill Clinton, presidential hopeful John Edwards, evangelist Jimmy Swaggert, late night host David Letterman, and now golf titan Tiger Woods.

Sex still holds the power to bring down the strongest, the boldest and the legendary. Sex has been the fall of man since the beginning of time and all the political correctness in the world can’t mask that fact. A lesson Woods has learned the hard way, as he confessed during his interview at the Players Championship Headquarters.

"The issue involved here was my repeated irresponsible behavior. I was unfaithful. I had affairs. I cheated. What I did is not acceptable, and I am the only person to blame. I stopped living by the core values that I was taught to believe in. I knew my actions were wrong, but I convinced myself that normal rules didn't apply. I never thought about who I was hurting."
Although it has been the undoing of many a poor boy, sex is very good for the body, mind and soul. It can be a very beautiful and natural way to show affection when the circumstances are right. It has been said that a healthy sex life equals longevity.

For women, sex can be beneficial for the heart as it helps to ease stress and promote sleep. Too much stress can cause a rise or fluctuation in blood pressure, which can be damaging to the heart. Sleep is a natural healer and is vital to our physical and mental health. With the release of endorphins after orgasm, it’s quite common for both partners to fall off to sleep, even if it’s just for a nap.
