Social Analytics Makes a 'Quantum Leap'
The world of social media analytics is about to be revolutionized by a creative new program that will change the way in which social media networks and the information on them is shared. The revolutionary program called Quantum Leap Buzz is definitely going to be a game changer. In this conversation with two of the creative minds behind Quantum Leap Innovations, CEO Joseph Elad and Board of Directors Key Advisor Rick Bennett, we’ll get a peek at some of the promises that come with making a Quantum Leap in social media analytics.
CEO and Founder Joseph Elad, is one of the masterminds behind Quantum Leap Innovations and bringing this brilliant tool into the hands of everyday folks who can find it beneficial in a multitude of ways.
Joseph is an experienced software executive who has founded and led several software companies since the mid-1980s. After earning a Bachelors degree in Engineering and an MBA, he joined the Ph.D. program of the Chemical Engineering department of the University of Delaware, completed his Masters there and proceeded to the Computer Science department where he worked in the field of Artificial Intelligence on a joint Chemical Engineering/Computer Science effort funded by DuPont and others. Having completed his course work toward a Masters in Computer Science, Joseph left the department in the mid-1980’s to found his first software company with other fellow graduates of the University of Delaware. Joseph is active, with his wife, Faith, in historic preservation and is an avid supporter of animal rights.
Quantum Leap Innovations is also responsible for the development of Pattern Based Analytics. Joseph tells of the program’s beginnings.
“We developed the Pattern Based Analytics technology through government contracts that examined geo-political, world health and military trends,” Joseph said. “We’ve taken that technology and designed a tool that can immediately identify and quantify trends on Twitter, allowing any individual using the product access to sophisticated analysis on issues and trends that they are interested in. Quantum Leap Buzz mines patterns within tweets and shows the relationships, identifying the evolution and trending of an idea, rather than just a listing of tweets by topic. Quantum Leap Buzz is designed to be the personal dashboard for every ‘connected’ individual in the world.”
