Decorating your home around the holidays is a long tradition for many families. When everything has been untangled, bulbs have been replace and the switch is finally turned on, you, your neighbors, friends, family and even passer-bys can soak in the holiday spirit.

A related tradition is scouring the neighborhood for those homes that went above and beyond the call of duty. You know, the house that has all the cars stopped in front of it because they are in sheer awe of the display? Yea, that house.

Well, don't worry about wasting precious gas trying to find those hidden holiday gems. Check out Trapster, the social media service that typically allows you to avoid getting pulled over by the police.

This year, the company decided to help you out with providing a way to find the best of the best of holiday displays. And, they are also encouraging you to log on, share your display and vote for others.

The site, launched on December 20th, provides visitors with a Christmas Map — http://trapster.com/christmas-lights/ — just in time for weekend drives with friends and family.

Trapster preloaded some houses on the map to get us all going. However, they are encouraging you to add yours and add others that you've seen in your travels.

There's also a function where you can check out Santa and his ride cruising all over the World. Of course, you’ll need to wait until Dec. 24-25 to see him in action.
