Twitter Removes Retweet Feature

SilverTwit Retweet GreenAfter many microblog posts about the new retweet feature that Twitter introduced, you can no longer retweet from Twitter's web interface.

We found it missing in our Twitter accounts today. TechCrunch Europe mentioned the absence of the retweet feature earlier in the month. Today, TechCrunch USA mentioned that they could not get official confirmation from Twitter.

You can still retweet using the traditional method of adding at RT and the username in your tweet. Or you can retweet using the built-in functionality of third party clients like Seesmic, CoTweet and Hootsuite. In some applications, like Tweetie for example, you can also repost a tweet.
