Wordpress 3.0 Arrives
Bloggers rejoice...WordPress 3.0 has arrived, and it packs a slew of new goodies for you to play with.
The platform, which is in its 13th major release, took roughly six months to complete with the help of over 200 different contributors. Users can upgrade from within their WordPress dashboard.
The new version promises to deliver with new features, including: custom backgrounds, headers, short links, menus, post types and taxonomies.
In addition, users will have the ability to create custom post types; tweak the way their menu is managed; leverage multi-site functionality; retrieve short links; create unique author templates; and, select username and password during installation.
