2012 Brazilian Grand Prix: F1 World Champion to be Crowned Today.
São Paulo, Brazil; 25th November 2012:
The 2012 Formula-1 season will come to and end with the 20th and last race to be held at São Paulo, Brazil. This race will also decide the winner of the 2012 F1 World Champion battle between Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso.
The race is also special because it will be and end of a legendary career for the seven-time World Champion- Michael Schumacher who retires after this race.
In the practice sessions Lewis Hamilton(McLaren-Mercedes) managed to secure the pole position with the timing of 1 minute and 12.458 seconds. His team partner Jenson Button finished second while Mark Webber(Red Bull-Renault) finished third.
Current World Champion and the competitor for 2012 World Championship- Sebastien Vettel finished 5th (1:12.760) while his opponent Fernando Alonso(1:13.253) finished seventh in the pole position.
Williams-Renault driver Pastor Maldonado who finished 6th received a ten-place grid penalty after he failed to stop at the weighbridge from the FIA which was marked by a red light. Pastor later claimed that the red light turned in to late.
The F-1 fans will still be setting their eyes on the German Driver Sebastien Vettel, who is on the verge of winning the F1 World Championship for successive three successive year. He will face a mild challenger from Ferrari Driver Alonso.
Currently Vettel has 273 points added to his account while Alonso is standing 2nd with 260 points.
Here are the Mathematical Equations which will decide winner of 2012 World Championship battle between Vettel and Alonso:
Sebastien Vettel (Red Bull-Renault) will be Champion if-
i]He finishes on 1st,2nd,3rd or 4th position.
ii]He finishes 5th,6th,7th and Alonso doesn't win the race.
iii]He finishes on 8th or 9th and Alonso is not 1st or 2nd.
iv]He finishes 10th or lower and Alonso is not 1st,2nd or 3rd.
Fernando Alonso(Scuderia Ferrari)will be Champion if-
i]He wins and Vettel is 5th or lower
ii]He finishes 2nd and Vettel is 8th or lower
iii]He finishes 3rd and Vettel is 10th or lower
No matter who wins between this the world champion battle but one thing is sure that this final race of the season will surely be a treat for the F-1 fans all over the world.
