Celtic's Forward Marquis Daniels Suffers Spinal Bruise; Out One Month

Boston Celtic's Forward Marquis Daniels will be out for two months after sustaining a bruise to his spinal chord during a hotly contested game at the Garden against the Orlando Magic.
Daniels was driving towards the basket early in the first half when the injury happened. He appeared to hit his head against the torso of the Orlando player that was covering him. He hit the floor, face down, immediately.
According to the Boston.com Celtic's blog:
Daniels was taken to New England Baptist Hospital, where he was able to move his arms and legs. He did not sustain a concussion.
Daniels is expected to be out a minimum of one month with the injury. He will undergo a CAT scan as well as an MRI and will be evaluated further in the coming days. With Daniels out, this will impact the second unit for the Celtics and they might rely more on Nate Robinson as well as players like Vaughn Wafer.
