Daily Five: Mike Conley Is The Latest NBA Player In Trade Rumors
Each day, we'll take a quick look at five of the most important stories going on in the NBA.
Chad Ford: "It's rare that you hear a new name pop up on the trade front this late in the game, but two sources have told ESPN.com that the Grizzlies have let teams know Mike Conley can be had in exchange for cap relief and a good first-round pick."
BlazersEdge: "After the game, Roy addressed questions from reporters regarding his health. He painted a grim picture. Here's a partial transcript."
Dime: "All signs from both camps point to (Nate) Robinson being traded for Eddie House and a second round pick."
Mike Jones: "Thus ends the Antawn Jamison era in Washington, D.C. Depending on who you talk to, it's a sad day. Anyone within the organization or around the league that you talk will describe the 12th-year veteran as the consummate professional, a guy who brought it night in and night out regardless of how good or bad — and over the last two years, mostly bad — the Wizards' record was."
The Baseline: "The Bulls and Knicks both have been linked to Tracy McGrady, who the Houston Rockets have been exploring a trade for. The Bulls appear to be out of the mix, and though the Knicks still appear to be working on deal, the Houston Chronicle labeled a Rockets-Knicks deal as "tenuous." Perhaps the Bulls and Knicks might ultimately make a deal with each other."
