Danica Patrick Enters NASCAR
The Associated Press is reporting that IndyCar driver Danica Patrick will announce an agreement Tuesday to race a partial schedule in NASCAR next season.
Patrick was the 2005 IndyCar Series Rookie of the Year. In 2008, she became the first woman to win an IndyCar race.
Her star power has also opened the door for opportunities both as a spokesperson (including for GoDaddy.com) and as a model. She's been in Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit issue, among other publications.
There have been rumors for several months that she was contemplating a move to NASCAR, which is more popular in American than IndyCar racing.
