The interwebs are blazing with LeBron James rumors, news, commentary and opinion.

Where is he going to end up? Will it be Miami, Cleveland, New York, Chicago, London, Spain...

...who knows!?

What I do know, is that ESPN is the big winner. In all of the coverage, Tweeting, Facebook posts, etc. there are mentions of ESPN pulling off the coup d'etat by getting the exclusive with James.

Now, there will be stories post his announcement about how many viewers chimed in, how many tweets there were, Facebook mentions, etc. Basically, ESPN will own the interwebs this evening.

The television ratings will be through the roof, website traffic will spike and somewhere, some ESPN executive is laughing all the way to the bank as he or she watches the checks come in.

The announcement, which is more of a media fiasco, had to be orchestrated by James' handlers, PR types and counsel. Since the guy is a millionaire, the cost to activate his people to secure this type of exposure is a drop in the bucket compared to whatever team is going to pay him to suit up for them next year.

Regardless of the investment by Camp James, ESPN has got to be smiling from ear to ear.

What do you think of the ESPN special around the James announcement?
