Pepe Reina for Liverpool is unavailable for this match due to suspension while Doni is also out due to the red card in the match against Blackburn earlier this week. So Brad Jones will be defending the goal for Liverpool with the recalled Peter Gulacsi taking his place on the bench.
Liverpool's midfielder Lucas Leiva still remains absent while Charlie Adam is a major doubt for this game due to knee injury.
Jack Rodwell is the only player in the injury list for Everton. Other than that, Steven Pienaar will be missing as he is cup-tied after playing for Tottenham in the FA Cup earlier this year.
