Jeremy's Lin-instincts Take Over

The New York Knicks came from behind to beat the Toronto Raptors 90-87 as Jeremy Lin knocked down a game winning three with seconds left to play. With the victory, the Knicks have won six games in a row and are just one game under .500.
Lin continued producing, dropping 27 points and dishing 11 assists. Aside from giving the Knicks the lead and the win, he also tied the game. With close to a minute left on the game clock, he passed up a wide open three, drove into the lane for a layup and foul. He made the free throw, which tied the game.
After a Toronto air ball, the Knicks took the ball looking for the lead. Iman Shumpert, who finished the game with 8 points and came up with a momentum shifting bucket late in the game, shot a jumper off the glass and missed. Lin took the ball with about 20 seconds left in the clock.
Lin called for the isolation with only Jose Calderon to beat. Calderon, fearing the drive, backed off Lin and gave him enough space to knock down the three pointer capping a 13-1 run.
With the game winning shot, Lin added another chapter to his amazing story. MSG's stock has risen, jerseys are selling out and fans are buzzing about their team as everybody wants to watch the Knicks win.
Jeremy Lin is in the middle of it all as he has been the player to score the most points in his first five games. Shaquille O'Neal scored a total of 129 points in his first five games and Lin has scored 136 points.
The beginning of this game, however, along with the second half of Saturday's Minnesota Timberwolves match-up, saw Lin struggle from the field. He finished the game 9/20 but it was a different game as Toronto crowded the paint not allowing Lin to penetrate forcing turnovers.
Amar'e Stoudemire chipped in with 21 points in his first game back after his brother's death last week. Stoudemire, who struggled in the first half as well, picked it up at the end of the game and played a part in the comeback.
Lin and the Knicks will play against the Sacramento Kings, who are currently 10-18, and will look forward to reaching the .500 mark as they are 14-15.
