Kenny Dalglish Finally has a new attacking option to line-up alongside Fernando Torres. Hotly pursued Ajax Amsterdam striker Luis Suarez will be making his move across the Chanel to Merseyside as the Reds first transfer capture of the January window. After more than two weeks of back and forth between the two clubs, the young Uruguayan world cup star will be lining up in the English Premiership in his next match.

Suarez brings a proven goal threat to the front line to allow Fernando Torres so lessening of his burden as the lone striker up front. However, the arrival of Suarez has cast a dark shadow over the Anfield faithful, as the arrival of a new star seems to be overshadowed by the unsettling announcement that Chelsea may be stealing Fernando Torres.

The Spaniard has a £50 Million buy out clause, and though he has repeatedly claimed to be a Scouser at heart, the possible offer of a £160,000 per week wage just might be enough to lure him away as the Blues seek a permanent replacement for the aging Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka. The Reds reported this morning that a £35 Million pound offer was refused and that the player was not for sale. However, with the buyout clause in place, Torres has asked to speak with Chelsea if an offer is agreed upon.

The loss of Torres could prove unsettling for the fans whom have grown to love him for his pronounced love of Liverpool. One can only hope that this truly is more rumor than truth, but the facts seem to be pointing towards the exit door for Liverpool's El Nino. The second coming of a Liverpool No.9 to reach legendary status aside Robbie Fowler may be derailed if Torres does indeed leave the club either now or in the summer.
