Nadal Wins the French Open Title for Record 7th Time

Paris; June 11,2012:
Rafael Nadal once again proved the world why he his called King of Clay Court. Nadal defeated Serbia's Novak Djokovic by 6-4, 6-3, 2-6, 7-5. With this win Nadal broke the record for six French Opens wins he shared with Sweden's Bjorn Borg. The win also shattered Djokovic's dream of achieving the Career Grand-Slam.
Earlier the match was postponed for the next day due to rain. It was the 2nd time in history when the French Open men's single final didn't result on Sunday. The match continued with Nadal leading by 6-4, 6-3, 2-6, 1-2. Yesterday Djokovic made a good comeback by winning the third set but he was unable to stop Nadal from creating history.
This was Nadal's 11th Grand-Slam win, including 7 French Open titles(2005,2006,2007,2008,2010,2011,2012), 2 Wimbledon titles(2008,2010), Australian Open 2009 and US Open 2010, which completed Nadal's Career Grand-Slam. Nadal also completed his Career Golden Grand-slam by winning gold medal in 2008 Beijing Olympic. He along with Andre Agassi are the only ones to get this achievement. Nadal also hold's a incredible record at Roland Garros with 52 wins and only one loss.
The match ended with Djokovic's double fault in 12th game of fourth set. After the win Nadal shook hands with Djokovic and then climbed the player's stand and hugged his family members and friends.
But even after losing Djokovic will still hold on to his No.1 position while Nadal will also stick to his No.2 position.
