Patriots Make Comeback in 23-20 Overtime Victory Over Ravens

Tom Brady was like the Mad magazine kid who says ‘what-me- worry’, when the Patriots traded Randy Moss and reacquired Deion Branch.
Branch fit like an old glove as he sparked a comeback from a 10-point deficit to a 23-20 overtime win defeating the Baltimore Ravens.
With two key catches, Branch, set up a 35-yard, Stephen Gostkowski field goal with 1:56 left in overtime.
“Tom and I have been away for four years and I honestly don’t feel we missed a beat,” Branch said post game.
He had seven receptions after the Ravens took 20-10 lead seconds into the fourth quarter, and finished with nine.
Baltimore scored on its opening drive, but didn’t have further action until 15 plays later when Bill Cundiff kicked a 26-yard field goal. Later, Green-Ellis put the Patriots ahead with a 2-yard touchdown run. The Ravens took a 10-7 halftime lead when Flacco’s connected with Todd Heap. Following an interception, Baltimore made it 17-7 with a 5-yarder to Anguan Boldin. Field goals brought them to a 20-10 lead with seven seconds gone in the fourth quarter.
It was then that the Patriots and Branch began the march back that would bring them down the path to victory.
“We’ve known each other for a long time, so I think the chemistry’s there,” Brady said, “It will be there.”
For the eighth consecutive season, the Patriots (4-1) won coming off a bye week.
The Raven’s three-game winning streak was brought to an end.
