Ryan Moore's par on the 18th out of a fairway bunker was enough to secure the lead going into the final round of the BMW Sunday.  After shooting 3-over during the second round, Moore put together an impressive 5-under, 66, to take the lead in hopes of qualifying for next week.  Moore currently sits in 58th in the FedEx Cup standings; the top 30 qualify for next week.

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, FL - MAY 06: Ryan Moore lo...(Ryan Moore leads the BMW Championship going into Sunday)

If everything stays the same at the BMW (and we all know it won't), Ryan Moore would finish second in FedEx Cup points right behind, you guessed it, Matt Kuchar.  Kuchar continues to be Mr. Consistent and is tied for 2nd place at 7-under.  If he can battle the field, the course and a nagging cold (or some illness) he will remain at the top of the FedEx cup standings and the front runner for Player of the Year.

As with every playoff, there have to be eliminations and as of right now, some big name players would be out of the top 30, including two of the four captains' picks for the US Ryder Cup team.  If everything ended as is, Tiger Woods would finish in 44th place, slightly up from where he started the weekend, in 51st.  Stewart Cink would also be resting next weekend.  He started the weekend in 35th but would finish in 37th.

What about Rickie Fowler?  Fowler grabbed plenty of attention when named to the US Ryder Cup team but will he be playing next weekend?  He started the BMW Championship in 25th place and as of right now, would finish in 28th.  Dangerously close to missing the qualification and putting more pressure on USA captain, Corey Pavin.  Anything can happen once the players tee off Sunday and it will render this article useless, but in the mean time, it sure is fun to speculate.
