Rodney Harrison is in Dirty Player Denial
Former New England Patriots safety Rodney Harrison recently got three votes in the yearly "who is the NFL's dirtiest player?" poll, which is weird considering he retired a year ago.
Seems there are still some people out there who are not happy with the way Harrison played. Harrison himself, however, disagrees with his former peers:
Harrison said he didn't consider himself a dirty player because he never intended to hurt anyone and he never went at a player's knees.
That's an interesting position. Robert Littal of Black Sports Online says Trent Green might have a different take, since Harrison delivered a preseason hit to Green's knees that caused him to miss a season and lose his job to a guy named Kurt Warner the year the Rams won the Super Bowl.
