Wrestlemania 29 Coming To MetLife Stadium in 2013

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has announced that Wrestlemania 29 will take held in MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
It's for the first time that the event will move to New Jersey's MetLife Stadium. The stadium is also the home to New York Jets and the Super Bowl XLVI Champion New York Giants. The main event will be held on April 7, 2013.
An official press conference will be held on, February 16, at the MetLife Stadium, where New Jersey Governor Chris Christie will be joined by WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, New York Giants President John Mara, New York Jets Owner Woody Johnson, NYC & Company CEO George Fertitta and a host of WWE Superstars, including John Cena, Triple H and Sheamus to officially announce the event. There will also be a special appearance by John Cena’s WrestleMania XXVIII opponent, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

WrestleMania is a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event, produced by WWE. The event was first produced in 1985 to be the premiere event of each year, and has since produced twenty-seven editions with the twenty-eighth,
WrestleMania propels the worldwide commercial success of the WWE through media, merchandise and shows. All of the events produced have been sold out within a short period of time, with recent editions being sold out within minutes of tickets going on sale. The first WrestleMania was held in Madison Square Garden in New York City; the 10th and 20th editions were also held there. WrestleMania III in Detroit was the highest-attended indoor sports event in the world, with 93,173 fans in attendance .
WrestleMania XXVIII is scheduled to take place at April 1st 2012 in Miami, Florida featuring the most awaited match between John Cena and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
