Wilson Ramos Crushes a Walk Off Three-Run Homer to Beat the Seattle Mariners 6-5

Living in the Pacific Northwest, I see a lot of Seattle Mariners games on TV. Last night may be the worst loss the Mariners have suffered so far in the 2011 baseball season.
They had a 5-1 lead going into the ninth inning, the M's right hander Doug Fister had pitched a masterful eight innings against the Washington Nationals. Fister allowed only one run on three hits and it looked like they were headed to an easy victory. They had their reliable closer Brandon League coming in to pitch the ninth and it would be smooth sailing! Then it all fell apart...very fast!
And it all started with a misplayed ground ball by the Mariners' first baseman Justin Smoak. The Nats Jayson Werth hit a sharp grounder to Smoak that went right through his legs for a two base error to lead off the ninth.
Then after the Smoak error, Brandon League didn't help himself out at all as he walked Roger Bernadina to put runners on first and second with no outs. And Seattle Mariners' fans everywhere were probably saying "Oh no! Here we go again!" Because League has had some bad outings in this 2011 baseball season. to be fair though, League had been "lights out" lately.
With runners on first and second it looked like the the Mariners were going to get out with a win as Ryan Zimmerman quickly hit into a double play. It looked like the M's would do it! They would get Fister his first win since May 30th! But, not so fast. With Werth now standing on third base, Jerry Hairston followed with an RBI single to make the score 5-2 now.
Then former Mariner Michael Morse hit a shot back to the mound that hit Brandon League in the leg for an infield single. Mariners' manager Eric Wedge and the trainer came out to the mound to check on League. The M's closer had to leave the game as Wedge brought in the usually reliable David Pauley.
