After Peyton Manning made the official move to Denver, many wondered what would become of Tim Tebow. The Broncos organization quickly put rumors to rest by announcing that they would be trading Tim Tebow. With other NFL teams in the hunt for a decent quarterback this off-season, Tebow had options. One of the teams that wasn't suspected to make a calling express interest in Tim Tebow was the New York Jets. A shock to many, the Jets signed Tim Tebow to play along with Mark Sanchez. Sanchez  will remain the Jets starter according to Rex Ryan.

Now that the Jets have two quarterbacks who can get the job done, or at least on good days, they may be building on what could be a Super Bowl run year. After Rex Ryan defended the Jets team last season in being a Super Bowl contender, they didn't do the claim any justice, with Sanchez having one of his worst years yet.

WithTim Tebow putting on the Green jersey in New York, it's starting to stir up controversy as to who will be taking the majority of the snaps, on the field. The Tebow deal includes the Jets paying $2.53 million in salary advance to the Broncos. The Jets will also have to pay the Broncos $1.5 million in 2012, and another $1.03 million in 2013 to cover Tebow's salary from the Broncos. The deal also included a seventh round draft pick from Denver for this April's NFL Draft.
