Randy Moss' reputation as a diva, and a cancer in the locker room remains problematic. It seems unlikely that his behavior would be radically changed. Even Brad Childress was surprised by Moss' lack of maturity, given his experience and number of years playing football. Do the New England Patriots really want to take on Moss, especially after acquiring former Bengal WR Chad Ochocinco? Does their team really need two high-maintenance wide receivers?

No offers have been made on the part of the Patriots, or any other team. Randy Moss has not formally declared any intention of coming out of retirement. He needs to heed the example of his former teammate, Brett Favre, and stay away, instead of coming back once again, only to showcase his deteriorating skills as a receiver.
