After Manning watch finished Monday when Peyton signed a deal with the Denver Broncos, many were wondering what may become of the other teams who were interested in Manning, and who they might go after next. One of those teams is the Miami Dolphins, who were after Manning, and Matt Flynn who was last years' backup QB for Rogers in Green Bay.

David Garrard played with the Jacksonville Jaguars and had some successes as their starting QB. After Miami did the deal with Garrard, a group of angry Dolphins fans protested the signing just outside the Miami Dolphins team facility. After about 30 people protested, the Dolphins released this statement regarding the fans and the hopes that they can appease them the next regular season.

We have the most passionate fans in football, and they are not shy about letting their sentiments be known, We understand, and we are working hard on giving them something to cheer about this season.

After the news about Garrard moving to Miami, one has to wonder who Jacksonville may be after for starting QB. Maybe they will woo Alex Smith, who led the San Francisco 49ers to the SuperBowl last year with a 13-3 record in the regular season.
