Philadelphia Eagles Defensive Tackle To Play in Thursday Preseason Game vs Cleveland Browns
Mike Patterson - Philadelphia Eagles
In a stunning turn of events Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Mike Patterson plans to play in the Eagles preseason game Thursday vs the Cleveland Browns, just three weeks removed from a dramatic collapse at Eagles practice.
Patterson was thought to be in danger of missing the season as speculation at first pointed toward a condition known as Arteriovenous Malformation of the brain, an abnormal connection between the arteries and veins.
While the exact results of Patterson's many medical tests are unavailable, it is apparent that he has been cleared by his neurologist and other physicians and is ready to get back on the field. We can't wait to see Mike out there playing for the team and city that is so close to his heart.
Patterson and the Eagles will be facing a very sharp looking Cleveland Browns team led by second year quarterback Colt McCoy and dangerous wide receiver Josh Cribbs on Thursday, August 25th at 7:30 Eastern.
