Tim Tebow Tweets to the Lord After Sweet Victory

Tim Tebow praises the Lord!Tim Tebow, the quarterback for the Denver Broncos, lead the team to victory in overtime on Sunday. His first response to the world after his press interview was “Praise the Lord!”

The Denver Broncos went 7-1 initially after Tim Tebow took over as quarterback. Yet they finished the season with losses in the their last three games. This miracle overtime victory came against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first round of the NFL playoffs.

The Broncos initially had a halftime lead of 20-6, but the Steelers managed to tie the game in the second half at 23-23. Then on the first play of overtime, Tim Tebow threw a short pass to Demaryius Thomas, who shook free from his tacklers and ran for what turned into an 80-yard touchdown pass for the victory.

After the game Tim Tebow went to the post-game interview and then right to his Twitter account. He tweeted “Praise the Lord! Thanks to all my great teammates, coaches and fans... This win was for Bronco Nation!” His second tweet, “We couldn't have done it without all of us working together as one ... And yea, @DemaryiusT is a beast! GB” paid homage to his teammates and his receiver.

The Denver Broncos will now face the New England Patriots on Saturday, January 14th at 8 PM on CBS. The Denver Broncos and Tim Tebow will need to redeem themselves for a victory as they lost their only regular season home game to the Patriots 41-23.
