While preparing for our continuing Bible study on the Augsburg Confession this past Sunday, I came across a fascinating little comment by Prof. John P. Meyer on Article V. As you may recall, Article V states: That we may obtain this faith, the Ministry of Teaching the Gospel and administering the Sacraments was instituted.

I haven’t made it home much since joining the Army. By home, I mean where I went to high school and college. I guess I made back to Virginia quite a bit while stationed in Tennessee, but I always miss my friends up north.
