Why, because even though I’m not very good at creating it I can still be moved by good poetry. The only rule I ever had when asking 4th graders to write poetry was that they were not allowed to rhyme.

And yes, there is a parenting angle here. "Stanley sightings" are a big deal around here in years the Detroit Red Wings won the Stanley Cup, including this year (and 1997, 1998, and 2002 in recent years).
