A crazy week here, too busy. But the week ends in huge excitement as I head off to Kerry's for her 'Girl's Day in the Country' stitch-in with Leanne Beasley & Rosalie Quinlan. These women are 'goddesses' in the Australian quilting scene, & it will be very special to meet them.

Gone Baby Gone I finally watched one of the movies I’ve had sitting around here for awhile. I love movies but sometimes just have to be in movie-mode to watch them. Here’s what I thought of Gone Baby Gone.

Not much to report on the stitching front in the last few days - everyday life stuff has taken over for a bit. I am keen to catch up with my Dear Jane blocks ASAP. This is the only one I have done recently, B7 World Series:I am hoping the next few days will be less 'full' & will allow a little more stitching time.

Dear Mr. Affleck, Gone Baby Gone is quite possibly one of the best things you’ve ever done.  The screenplay is brilliant.  The use of locals in the actual cast is brilliant.  The direction was awesome.  Your brother has shown that he has way more acting chops than I or anyone else ever thought he

We lost two of the 24 hours we’d gained from not seeing any of this weekend’s movie offerings by watching the DVD of Ben Affleck’s atmospheric adaptation of the Dennis Lehane thriller, Gone Baby Gone. But we gave up those two hours without regret, getting a kick, as we did, from the vicarious squalor.

So this is a new movie with Casey Affleck in it, wait I mean Ben, no wait c=Casey is right. Oh how good is riding on your brothers fame. Its kinda like how Dani Minogue is hosting crap reality TV shows now. Winner!!!! Anyway so a baby goes missing in the rough suburbs of Boston, so instead of getting the cops involved they get some un-experienced PI’s that know the neighborhood.

So for my first real movie review I just picked the movie that I saw most recently. That would be Gone Baby Gone. Let me just say that Casey Affleck is slowly growing into one of my favorite actors of this young millennium.

Since I’m home sick with Bronchitis today, I’m not capable of coming up with anything brilliant or original. but I’ll share with you some of the creepy, weird, strange and fascinating things that I’ve looked at online today. Baby born with 2 faces - She is actually very cute and has a sweet little dimple between her two faces.
