I asked Entourage questions last time, so it's PowerPoint's turn ... Do you use slide themes? If not, why not? Do you use a built-in theme, one that was given to you (say, a theme your company requires you to use), or one that you made yourself? Do you ever tweak a theme? What changes do you make?

The winners have been announced in this year's "World's Best Presentation" contest at SlideShare.net.I have some issues with this contest, the main one being that none of these slideshows is a "presentation." For a presentation to happen, you need a presenter and an audience.

Most of us do a good number of presentations in our day to day activity. Whether you are doing professional presentation in your office for training or product display or you are a big time uploader on slideshare, you can’t live without making powerpoint presentations.

Water scarcity tops the presentations in the SlideShare World’s Best Presentation Contest. SlideShare is YouTube for PowerPoint presentations. It’s a fantastic social tool for sharing presentations, discussing them, voting on them, and ultimately learning from them.

If you use Microsoft PowerPoint then I’ll bet that you occasionally need to visit a website from within PowerPoint. What this has meant in the past is that you insert a weblink into the slide, then during the presentation when you get to that slide you click on the link and a browser will open giving you access to the page you requested.
